About me

 

 

I am an applied imagination practitioner driven by the pursuit of changes and the spread of knowledge. I am a creative human working at the frontiers of visual narrative interested in the future of education.

I use creativity as a medium to research, develop and communicate ideas that have the potential to become concepts, strategies or processes.My training is in Business, Marketing Communications, and Design & Complex Thinking.

Over the last five years I have been working as a lecturer and workshop facilitator, in both english and spanish, and collaborated on international projects that explore the convergence of technology and the arts.

My work aims to promote the well-being of people living in vulnerable contexts, and has ranged from designing non-formal learning spaces to host open art thinking workshops for children at borders and refugee camps (in East Africa and the Middle East), to the creation and implementation of design and future thinking workshops for university students across Mexico.

I am the creator of S P A C E Y,  a peace-building platform that helps children from displaced communities imagine better futures. I am also the cofounder of MIRS, an established Mexican NGO that ​provides educational tools to  make thrive design-led projects and build creative capabilities across different communities and social contexts in México.
